Nacreous Metals was born from the union of two crafts and one shared calling.
When a metal worker and an oil painter married, their skills naturally began to intertwine—steel and color, strength and beauty, craftsmanship and artistry. Together they founded Nacreous Metals, a Hill Country workshop devoted to creating everyday objects that are both beautiful and built to last for generations.
Inspired by the layered beauty of nacre—nature’s way of turning irritation into something luminous—their work reflects patience, durability, and thoughtful design. Each piece is shaped by hand with the intention that it will not only serve a purpose, but also bring quiet beauty into daily life.
Rooted in the Texas Hill Country, they are grateful to live and work in the community of Utopia, where neighbors still know one another and craftsmanship still matters.
